Well wow, first off thank you! I wasn't expecting a comment like this ever as I do see your point since many people on this site join for that very reason.

As for Subeta, it actually is a pet site, much like Neopets but for a more older crowd, that I've been on for years. I just find it easy to talk to people there as it's a friendly environment and I love love love decorating the avatars with close. In all, I spend most of the time lurking the art forums.
