This painting was done with acrylics on a hand-made Sioux-style native american drum. It is made from elk hide stretched over a stained pine frame. It's 20" in diameter and has a beautiful, deep-sounding tone to it. The painting is protected, and it is a playable drum as well as something able to be hung on a wall or stand for display.
