Angelic in appearance with a shy nature these creatures are rarely seen or heard. Capable of flight and magic they hide themselves well in the Pharyexian Highlands. The bracelets on their arms, legs, and tail allow them to Chanel powerful magics through their body without overloading. born from magic these creatures are timeless and immortal.
when they master their specific magic their bangles disappear and are replaced with that element minus the wrists. having mastered such magic makes them more confident an able to spread out into the world. they may even visit a town or city to meet other races.
well for raritys there is:
common: newborn to adult imperials that have a basic or common knowledge of magic. still have bangles, and still only have two colours besides black.
Uncommon: an adult imperial with better than average knowledge of magic and are pursing a specific element
Rare: an adult imperial that has almost mastered their element, but not quite. they receive another colour at this stage.
Special rare: an adult imperial that has mastered magic and whose bangles have dissolved due to them no longer being needed.
Legendary: an adult imperial that has completely mastered two elements
the rarity is their level of skill in magic. higher level ones are harder to catch and are more skilled at hiding themselves with magic or just in the brush. i would say if ten were born 5 would be able to be uncommon, 2 rare, and if they are super lucky 1 special rare, but legendary are very very rare.
they are born with affinity's to all schools of magic, however if they choose to learn all schools they will be a jack of all trades, but a master of none. so some choose to forgo other magics to hone one.
They get a class name sort of like a "guild" where they go to learn their chosen magic. the one above has mastered fire so they joined the fire starters to help/teach/and maybe hone their skills more. if they want to branch off they have to go on their own self journey to try to master another element.
bangles dissolve once they aren't needed. they are there so they cant over magic themselves and cause a rukus. once they can control their magic completely they leave, but in the case that their magic becomes unstable they will return and the imperial will have to prove they can work magic properly before it leaves again.
