Say what you will, but customizing My Little Ponies is a LOT of fun. Expecially the part where you chop their heads off and rip out all their hair >:)
EDIT: She's on eBay till March 14th! Grab her while you can. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl.....m=290211730151

I did it in a bunch of sittings over the course of a month, so it's hard to say. The scaley skin took forever, only because I had to do it in small chunks and let it dry before I could do other sections. Maybe 4-5 sittings total to do it. The mane took like 1 1/2 - 2 hours to rehair.
Oh that is too cool. XD The "beaded" texture came out perfect. As a customizer myself, the only thing I could really nitpick is I don't feel you gave her enough hair, it looks a little thin. But other than that she's gorgeous. :3
I've got a blue-ringed octo-pony in my gallery. :3 http://www.furaffinity.net/view/443198/

I've seen a couple octo-ponies. I got a bit disheartened when I was working on mine, and somebody posted an Ursula octo-pony in the forum I frequent. I decided to finish it anyway. The worst was when I was working on a xenomorph custom, and then somebody posted theirs. Haven't had the heart to finish that one.
