I very rarely can draw anything by freehand even when using a reference, but i feel i did kinda decent for my first attempt to in over 2 years.
I will continue to touch up on it and eventually i guess ill be able to create an entire image to put up.
for now this is scraps..and helping remarks or suggestions would be appriciated, and yes i know -.- i fail at drawling fur lol.

sergals are frustratingly tricky to draw, for sure - but this aint bad. certainly recognizable as a sergal.
I'd say this is a younger specimen because of the blunter snout and shorter ears.
There's nothing obviously 'wrong' in this drawing, and at this point requires refinement.
If you are trying to create with a unique character, try to come up with some distinguishing characteristics, like subtleties in the markings or coloring/// look carefully at other fan-made sergal characters and do what you can to make yours stand out - but i'd also avoid making it too garish and erring on the side of subtlety.
