Scotland's football system merged from the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League to create the Scottish Professional Football League this year. The top division has been renamed the Scottish Premiership, and twelve clubs are competing in it this year. I've been meaning to get round to doing a picture of all the club mascots together for a while, but finding information on Scottish club mascots is actually quite hard! It appears to be more of an English thing!
Here's some more information about each of the above mascots;
ANGUS THE BULL - His name and species are inspired by Aberdeen Angus beef.
HOOPY THE HUDDLE HOUND - Hoopy gets his name from Celtic's nickname, The Hoops. Where the huddle part comes from I don't know.
TERRY THE TERROR - The mascot of my beloved United, the club's crest has a lion in it, which explains why he is one! There is also a kid mascot called Tiny the Terror!
TYNIE TIGER - Hearts usually two Tynie Tigers at once, but I say only one can appear here!
SUNSHINE THE LEITH LYNX - Named after The Proclaimers' album 'Sunshine on Leith', Hibs are also based in the Leith area of Edinburgh and both members of The Proclaimers are lifelong fans!
INVERNESSIE - Caley Thistle actually have two mascots, the other being I-Cat. Both were created as a result of a competition on the now defunct Scottish football show Scotsport.
NUTZ THE SQUIRREL - Killie's crest has two squirrels on it, hence the squirrel mascot. He also doesn't usually wear shorts! Probably my favourite mascot in this division.
CLARET - Like Caley, Motherwell have two mascots; Claret and Amber, named after club's colours.
JAGGY MACBEE - Normally doesn't wear clothes because being a bee, he matches the club colours anyway!
ROSCO THE STAGGIE - Based around the fact there is a stag on the club crest, as well as the club being nicknamed The Staggies.
SUPER SAINT - This silly mascot normally wears a white and blue striped superhero outfit, but I wanted the keep the strip on display for the benefit of those not familiar with Scottish football.
PAISLEY PANDA - Named after the town St. Mirren are based in.

Yeah, sorry about that. Finding decent pictures of any Scottish football mascot is difficult and from what I did find regarding Motherwell FC, Claret tends to wear the home strip and Amber the away strip. So I chose Claret on that basis! Motherwell finished 2nd last season too - I'll be delighted if you can go one better - providing it is not at Dundee United's expense! =P
