No, sadly, I don't make music. I just enjoy listening to it a lot and wanted to learn more about the theory behind it. It's a beginner's book, and a good place to start learning if you want to know more about music, though.

I used to had a giant box filled with my drawings. (It was...what, 1mts with something? I don't recall the size, but it served as a small coffee table).
Good to know I'm not the only one that use to keep the old art from back in the day. (though I throw away mine when it started to go into inhuman levels of paper)

Seeing this makes me really want to clean up my bookshelves because I actually have a lot of books I haven't read that were from highschool hell, and no room for my sketchbooks, and also all the notes I ever took in school since middle school...
I just want to have a bookshelf that has stuff I'm actually interested on it.

Like... I know that's weird. n__n; Nothing too personal, I mean, but I love shots like these that share bookshelves or desks.

I especially love photos of work spaces. Some people's desks are very sterile, but many are full of personality (I know mine is... too much. :P).

Pfff. Nah. You don't want to end up with too many books, since you will be stuck there with shelves upon shelves with books you never read and/or even knew were yours.
Like, smash a bible in there, fill up with language books for 12 different languages and put a random book in German on top. Next shelf: lie down huge geographical books -which you would only need one of- down at one end, and fill up with books you have never read before. Because, of course, you'll go read them all later. Or maybe your children, or your grandchildren. Better keep these books.

Two cat books? Pfft! I had 232 dog books on my shelf last count, before I packed them in boxes when I moved into a smaller house. You really need to visit used book fairs/Sunday markets and stock up!

Lol. If you saw all the books I have......oh boy. People hate having to help me move because I have at least probably two hundred pounds (or more) of books alone (and that's not including the fifty pounds of text books I have from college that we couldn't return because we were supposed to keep them for reference for later--being in massage therapy and all). O____O Most of mine sadly are stored in plastic tubs in the garage since I can't fit them all on my shelf I could fit in my room (it's so small, my room, because of moving home again). I'll have to take a picture of my bookshelf I have with what I have on it sometime lol. It's probably only about a fourth of all the books I have total. *grins* Anyone that gets me a book as a present is like my bestest friend ever. XD That's like all I ever ask for if anyone wants to give me a present. Just one book (especially if it's Sherrilyn Kenyon). XD

The only books I have are animal encyclopedias (mostly pertaining to felids), though I can't sort them out neatly on a shelf like this. My "neatly categorized shelves" always end up covered in loose shit that don't belong there, so I kinda gave up~
