This idea was been stuck in my head awhile, so I finally did it. This is one of what will be a tryptic of native Indian cats. I have never painted any sort of real clothing, so this was my first go at a sari. It was also my first time using colored india ink over watercolor; and somehow I found this an appropriate time to try that :)
The other two, a tigress and an asiatic lioness, will be forthcoming.
