i thought id post some pics of my mates iguanna since its been a while since i have.
he is about 13-14 months old, and yes. he is very small for his age.
my mate got him without the proper knowledge of their supplementational needs, and he ended up with a Calcium deficiency. so as soon as i realized he wasnt getting his needs met i swooped in and took over his care. his diet, his calcium, his lighting needs, i gave him my bigger tank. and he is now all perkied up. he had stopped growing because of the lack of calcium so now he is starting to pick back up and he is WAY better now.

Yeah.. I am working with a sub adult white throat monitor my tip is don't just reach in at him just sit there with your hand in his cage slowly move your hand closer to him if he shows anything bout him about to bite or whipe you just stop let him calm down and then see how close you get with hm dont pick em up right away do this every day for about a month and then when hes usto your hand in the cage pet em on his back and try his head just take it slow then when hes usto that try picking him up in the cage then out side the cage. This helps with alot of large lizards big an small really I have been doing that for a few years with lots of diff animals when I did rescues so hopefull that helps and you can just pick him up with out any problems!
