‘The moon is so beautiful tonight. And the air so crisp,” Night Charm thought as she shuffled through the sand. The ocean waves lapped against the shore, reaching out towards her. Then she felt an arm around her. Night Charm turned towards the stranger next to her. Her vision starts to fade out. Right before it went, she saw vivid blue eyes…
Night Charm woke up in a cold sweat. It was the same dream. She had been having the same dream for the past week. She didn’t know what to do. Was it her time to finally fine her special somepony? Her mate? She couldn’t tell. It was so easy to get other ponies together. She could see both of their faces. But for her, she couldn’t see the face of this pony. With a deep sigh, she snuggles into her blankets falling into a light, dreamless sleep.
A few nights passed. Night Charm couldn’t sleep one night and decided to go for a walk on the beach. The night was chilly but it was suited to her liking. She walked along the shore just out of reach of the waves. She heard footsteps ahead. Ears perked, she stopped in her tracks. As the pony approached, she could see from the distance bright blue eyes. She stood there, awaiting the stranger. In the dim moonlight, she could see the handsome stallion. He noticed her and gave her a friendly smile.
“Hello. I didn’t think anyone would be out here this late. I’m ShootingStar.”
“H-hello. I’m Night Charm,” she stammered, blushing.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you. But it is rather late. A pretty Pegasus like you shouldn’t be out alone. Let me walk you home.”
Night Charm gave him a shy smile. “I would enjoy that, thank you.”
ShootingStar shrugged out of his jacket and draped it around her shoulders. “It’s chilly. Wouldn’t want you to catch a cold.”
Night Charm just giggled. They continued to walk together in a natural silence when he wrapped an arm around her, pulling her gently closer. ‘Could this really be him?’ she wondered.

Haha Well, if you read her ref sheet in my gallery she actually has a weird talent. She dreams about other ponies and has to find a way to bring them together. It's why when I saw your contest, I knew Night Charm would be a great match for ShootingStar.
But I'm glad you enjoyed it. I figured just a picture wouldn't really do my idea justice so I wanted a little more to go with it. Just how I am haha. Thanks for the luck though X3
