In my opinion, it isn't impacted at all. Kept them 'steady-on' most of the time at night, but even during one of the dances I had mine flashing, in all cases, after a few moments I didn't even "see"/notice it anymore.
Of course "YMMV," but I think the way Snap does it really does minimize any light-pollution/intrusion.
