While I love how you color, this pic being in black and white has a special charm, you know... there's something that makes me sit and stare at the pic trying to find and admire small details. It remember me a lot of Sin City.

This is so guerrilla, it's like the art I usee to do when I was a security guard. drawn on the back of Apple Computer conference room pads. I know the instinct. but I'm sorry you're so sad.

Well it's art you make with just office supplies and scratch paper. You gotta do what you gotta do.

You graphic artists who do art professionally, who are skilled at representing a clients concept in the form of images, always do a REMARKABLE job of interpreting their own feelings in the same medium. Its so above and beyond an art piece when its accompanied by such strong emotion.

Ding ding ding, you're the first person to pick up on the Alice in Wonderland influence :> thanks a lot! I just used a sharpie and a straight-edge. There was a teeny bit of bleed/fuzz in places I cleaned up in photoshop while digitizing.

The combination of big fat tears being enough to float a boat and that beak just reminded me of all the birds she meets.

I don't normally fave artists' vent art, but in this case I had to, because I was just so impressed by the detail and the contrast. It's not often I see a black and white piece that's so striking. This stands out more than some color pieces.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon, even if I don't know what's going on in your life.

Thanks so much! I like to think/hope a lot of my "vent art" can stand alone as a decent work. All too often vent art just = messy sketch of gore or something like that, for a lot of people it seems like, they tend to be cathartic for the artist but meh for the viewer. I enjoyed doing this in all B&W, and in an medium I couldn't easily erase, it was a real exercise in contrast and planning! Thanks for commenting!
