Got invited to attend (for free) a movie night at the San Francisco Davies Symphony Hall on Saturday, July 27th.
The symphony hall was showing the 1999 movie, "The Matrix" with a live orchestra playing the movie's musical score. Called "The Matrix Live," it was the uncut version of the movie, and even had an intermission. Best of all, it was being conducted by Donald R. Davis, who WROTE the music for the movie!
Here I've posted a photo during the planned intermission. There's actually more in this photo, but I didn't want to post faces, and the original photo I took with my new iPhone 4, was larger than FA allows.
You can see they painted the members of the orchestra in the green "Matrix" light. Very cool event! More movies should be re-released like this.
The added surprise is that some of our own FA member furries were there! I found out it was
spottacus and also majikfox, from what information I got back from Spottacus.
Sure makes up for not being able to attend Megaplex.
