All right! Here's an example of those papercuttings i keep trying to sell. This is IMO, the hardest type i do, becuz it involves me converting a 3d, shaded image into flat colours. It also involves working with people, which can be difficult
This is done with 15 colours of paper? Not sure on the exact number.
There is only ONE exception to my normal rule of no colouring- and its their lips and teeth- i did colour that, due to me not having any colour close enough on hand and not willing to go out and buy a piece for such a small area, so i coloured that part by hand and layered it. Other than that, i'm pretty proud of this.
I DO realize there are major problems with her left shoulder, since i know someone's going to mention it- i had problems after spray gluing layers together, keeping them in the right place, and it wasn't til i have a few layers done already that i realized it. I doesn't look incredably bad, so i left it up to James to decide- he told me he's happy with it, so its finished.
This type of papercutting is available for comission- $30 for something about this complicated, if its less complicated, it may be less (for example, a photo of your dog with no background would be less, cuz it'd be simple), and if its more complicated, it'll obviously be more money. All comissions get paper picked and bought especially for their papercutting, if you'd prefer, i could even go out and buy all new paper (even textured japanese paper for a more stylized look) for the same price. ( i just normally use whatever i have on hand that i need first, since i have a LOT of paper on hand)
I'll be selling these on here for a few days before i go onto Etsy.com to sell it, so if you're interested, you only have a few days to get on the front of the list.
Thanks a bunch for perusing!

*giggles and huggles tight* surprises are awesome. I can tell how much you guys care about each other from the picture, and i thought this one was particularly lovely. It was a pleasure doing it for you both, james is such a sweety and a friend of mine for some time now, and you're very nice as well.
