Another commission for the lovely

Jeepers, was this ever a personal challenge!!
I haven't tackled an actual full on interior in ages, and this was one of a few ideas thrown around for this commission.
Kalena Pau has been mulling over what the future has in store for her as a pilot for Hawaiian Airlines. As she gazes out at her beloved aircraft, she wonders if it would be best to stay or leave.
I chose to do this one for the sake of getting some long needed exercise in perspective, staging, light, and color to capture the mood of this particular scene.

Awwwwwww! The artwork looks lovely, awesome and gorgeous! I love the emotions you've captured in Kalena -- how longing she looks as she stares out at her aircraft and contemplates her own future as a pilot for the airline company. Really tugs at the heart strings.
I absolutely love the foreground and background settings. The empty terminal lounge gives the feeling of loneliness -- that Kalena is alone in her own thought- processes and decision-making, as she tries to figure out her future. I love how her wing is up against the window, looking out at her aircraft.
Of course, the background scenery is just as beautiful -- both the aircraft and the Hawaiian sunset.
