It's nice this early in the morning. Everything's quiet, dark, and relaxing. Anyone else would sleep, but not me. I like to stay up and think, reflecting on how lucky I am to to have my 'yote.
... Speak of the devil, he's waking up. As always, I watch him get up, gathering his clothes from the floor and getting dressed. I know he has a run today, but I can't help myself. I'm not ready for the day to begin yet.
