You're an authorized individual? Uploading it to FA is historical and/or promotional?
I never said you were breaking any rules, only that you should get consent. No matter how much you like the picture, the person on the other end might not want it uploaded to a furry art site. Common courtesy?
There was no need to fly off the handle and attack the ones who did not want this photo up. No one angrily demanded you do anything, "please" and "thank you" does not equate to "so much drama."
Congrats on handling this so maturely.

Historical and/or promotional:
When asked, "What's it like at a furry convention?" This photo can represent "This is a group of friends hanging out and enjoying their time together at the convention while waiting patiently in line for an event to start."
So that would promote:
A. A friendly environment where friends can gather.
B. That these folk are civilized and not anything like you see on CSI, Entourage, etc.
C. I'm sure you can come up with some of your own, feel free to contribute.
The folks that attended this event were notified, in writing, that there would be people there taking photographs, video, etc. and that there was a possibility that a visual representation of them could possibly end up somewhere, whether it be FA, Flickr, YouTube, etc. By paying to enter, and then following through and showing up at the event, you agree to this possibility, and therefore that IS your consent to having a photo/video etc. taken of you.
That's like going in to a bank and then getting upset because they video taped you. You were told, and you accepted the possibility that it would happen.
If someone is REALLY that embarrassed to be attending and/or seen at a furry event... maybe they shouldn't be going? Is it really that embarrassing? No, not really. It's not any worse than going to the store and buying condoms and/or personal need items. The only difference is that person see's you every time you go there to shop, and a greater possibility of running into them elsewhere that you live. Not everyone you know or live near is on FA. In fact, it's probly a lesser chance of recognition than the person that sold you rubbers or tampons.
Did I act maturely? I certainly didn't start crying about how my insecurities, and how I feel I look in a picture of myself.
Do I look rough, you betcha. Would I get angry at someone taking a picture of me and posting it somewhere? No. It's silly.
Did I fly off the handle?
Certainly not. I re-read all comments, and did not see me typing in all caps anywhere. Just reminded others of what they agreed to when they chose to attend the event.

So, you're not an authorized individual? Also, what non furry is going to find this picture and ask what a furry convention is like? These rules that you have copy and pasted to everyone seem to be more for the convention then for some random stranger. I could see a photo like this on the cons website helping to promote and educate, but on FA? I think not, but that's my take on the rules. Hardly fact at all.
Anyways, I told you "I never said you were breaking any rules," so spouting the rules to me again is not achieving anything. I understand you are allowed to post this picture. It's not against any rules. We get it. Also, your bank "example" does not even apply to this. These are pictures being posted to a public site, not a security tape. Two very different things, though I see where you were going.
Your argument "maybe they shouldn't be going?" is hardly valid. We are talking about a picture online, not someone seeing you around town/at the convention.
Maturity. I believe scribbling over your photo, putting a meme over it, accusing people of drama for simply asking for you to take a picture down is hardly mature. Your comments also prove your level of maturity.
I don't care how you look. This has to do with the people in the photo, and comparing yourself to them isn't going to fix/help anything. Not a valid point.
Did you fly off the handle? Caps lock does not equate to flying off the handle. On the other hand, everything else you did, does.
If you choose to reply, please stick to what the points are.
We know you're not breaking any rules, all we were asking was for you to take down the picture out of common courtesy. That is all we were saying. You say drama is typical of FA, but it wouldn't have happened if you would have handled this in a civil manner.

Call me mean and an asshole... but did you SEE some of the people wandering around there? You've got not ONE thing to be embarrassed/ashamed/shy/dissatisfied with. Trust me on this.
Also, I'm pretty sure my boobs are MUCH bigger than yours, don't be jealous. It's just a fact of life. Some of us were a little more blessed than others!
