Actually I now live in Milwaukee.

But when people ask where I'm "from," I say "Madison," even though I just went to school there.

It's less embarassing than "Hoover, Alabama."

Thats an excellent point, and one I can agree with. People ask me where I'm from, I tell them Madison as well. Because there are people in the Madison area who, when I tell them I live in Columbus, Wisconsin, have no idea where that is, despite being a whole 24 miles from their city.

What school ya go to? UW, Madison Media, Edgewood, or MATC?
