"The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... I got in."
Well here's "THE GRID." A work in progress, my rig. Trying to get it back up to it's old ways on the display and boot up and shut down sounds but yeah.
Glowy.

That is so wicked awesome! You're the only person I've seen so far that actually has the small box for a computer. Was it hard to get the right kind of Internal Hardware for it? I've been in thought of building my own for portability, but finding a Case I would like and hardware to my liking tends to be a limiter...that and funds to actually buy it.
And for a bit of Tron Nostalgia, here's something that was Fan-made that is fun to play, once you change the settings to your preference and learn the controls: http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/s....._paranoids.php

Actually that case, the thermalake a30 uses a mATX motherboard size. And even then it was a little too big for my tastes. It uses mostly the same hardware. The tricky thing was the unorthodox positioning of the hard drives. But since eveything was modular, it made the installs relatively easy. The hardware is the same just fewer slots.
Now, however im sporting an even smaller build. mITX. The motherboard is only 7in by 7in and supports only one graphics card. mATX supports two. But I realized that by going for more portability, I sacrificed additionsl slots for "higher" capability. (Multiple graphics cards)
My new unpictured mITX case (coolermaster 130 pro) was chosen for its limiting factor. I dont want to buy several of the latest cards and the specific motherboard ironed out the need for multiple Usb slots. That said, even though it supported the latest graphics cards, it was a pain fitting in all the cabling.
mITX Is great if you want something tiny, and the cases are cheap if you can find them (50 to 80 vs atx 80-200) just make sure you have plenty of cable ties. Just make sure when you choose a motherboard and case the sizes and standards match up.
