Ideas for my character for my third year film

He’s a lot more simple than my usual characters since he’s going to be animated. He’s a young lizardy alien person thing. The story isn't set in stone but I was thinking of a simple the lion and the mouse kind of story and I’m currently designing the “lion" for him to help c:

I was going to settle on this design but then my dad said he looked like Gollum. It was kinda stupid but it made me feel dumb about his design. So I made another character which I'm going to post in a second!
