The first in a series of comic pages to show the origin of Crash being turned into a werewolf. Every month on the night of the full moon he's locked up in the SWAT Kats' cell block to prevent him from going out and hurting/turning/killing anyone. Beer is usually not permitted in the SK base (although Crash can get away with it when he's locked up), so that explains Sky sneaking it in. Credits to "Budwhisker" goes to Nee. <3
This comic and the pages that follow serve two purposes: to draw more Crash and to visualize his werewolf back story. I've always had his werewolf story paved out, and I've always wanted to see it on screen... soon I'll share them with you (seriously, I've got 3 other pages sketched up right now, just a matter of inking and drawing more).
This is my first comic series where I've used Manga Studio Debut 4's comic panels. I had never used them before because I usually don't lay out the page ahead of time; I just draw what came to mind and what fit on the paper. Also, I had just recently fixed the panels and bubbles from a glitch where I couldn't use them. X3 It's quite a different experience, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. It did crop the first panel a little bit, but no great loss (without resizing the panel).
More to come soon...
