Since I didn't provide much for reference or details I was curious to see how the sketch would turn out and I'm very happy with the result. The Anubian look goes well with the Egyptian theme and the feathered wings help clarify that it is not Anubis. I like the faint 'smile'.

This is only the second time I've ordered any sort of commission, the other time was when Nami Jarrett ( http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Nami_Jarrett ) was offering commissions to support The Nature Conservancy, back in 1998. I think I'll take less than 15 years before I order something else.

Now that you've gotten me started I'm going to have to put some real work into designing a fursona. I'm definitely keeping the feathered wings but will go for a slightly less Egyptian look to help avoid any potential confusion with Duamutef http://www.furaffinity.net/user/duamutef/
