Same as the previous image, just with the color layers turned off leaving only the blurred impressions of the characters and the hard shadows where they were. Both characters die in the story. The spitfire, Charity, finds her death early sadly. She's an interesting character to write/draw. Eric, the primary protagonist in the "before" story, survives until much later but fails and succumbs to his enemies during the climax of the "Before" story. The duo are nothing but memories and history in the "current" storyline, but they've done more to shape that story line than any other character, save Timothy Maxis, the primary antagonist.
