This has become one of my favorite guns ever, not just for how it functions or how it shoots, jut everything that went into this pistol make it absolutely awesome! This pistol started life as a W. German SiG P226 with oddly enough the sand cutouts which you don;t see very often. The slide is that off of Gamma, an American made .40 S&W. I quite some time ago got the barrel to change gamma over to a .357 Sig but after the events talked about in the Gamma mk II description the slides were swapped and so this is what I got. After doing all that work on Gamma I felt that this one needed a little love as well and so I went out and using some sand paper took the finish off the slates of the stainless steel slide, giving it a very cool look (any sig fans will recognize the sig equinox look here). I also went out and bought a set of XS standard dot sights and installed them. A budy of mine uses the XS big dot sights on his glocks and turned me onto their sights and I will admit i love them.

I plan on getting XS sights for all my pistols, I just have a hard time finding the cash right now. (at almost 100 a shot it isn't easy)

357 sig is not my favorite caliber btw, it packs a serious punch and in these sig aluminum frames pistols feels more controllable to me than the 40 S&W. Very cool round if a little pricy, I used this as my carry piece for a while and I had no issues with it at all, still shoot this a bunch even if it's been turned into a safe queen because i replaced it in my rack and on my belt, although since I am gonna be building a pair of new racks this girl may have a home soon.
