Glock.... it's a Glock..... it's still a Glock..... (a Glock 17 that is)
Yea, glock is not my favorite firearm in the world but I have to say this, "There are much nicer guns in the world, but you'd have a hard time finding a better one."
I have a problem with polymer framed pistols, they are too square, this is an issue for me because of the shape of my hand, i have long skinny fingers which means that when I'm firing polymer framed handguns the grip I use causes the frame to grin into the bone of the second knuckle of my thumb, this hurts a lot especially after the first hundred rounds.
In the end I bought this to be my toss around junk gun, cheap and I don;t worry if it gets beat up. But having worked with it and modded it, fit it to me and most of all shot it, I have grown to respect and even love this pistol. I rounded the frame slightly which makes it easier to shoot and then stippled the frame to give me more grip.
I did a little work on the internals but because this is a police trade in pistol the parts are about as smooth as they are going to get. I might down the road get a drop in trigger but I really don;t feel like spending money on this pistol, as i said above, it's a glock....
good old E will probably get a Mk II down the road once i get the night sights and decide how I want to do the colors for it... maybe florescent orange so i can see where it is in the dark lol
Not very happy with this picture but I couldn't get the glock mag to hold up the pistol for the pic lol so I improvised.

Have looked, and honestly I wasn't impressed, great pistol don;t get me wrong, and for when it was made it was freaking awesome (1975 there was really nothing past the browning highpower as far as innovation went at the time and the CZ-75 has influenced every pistol made since (including the Beretta M9/ 92 it came about 4 years later).
Too heavy for not much advantage, I do like the Duty version which uses a polymer frame, wow is that a nice shooting pistol.

lol, my problem isn't so much with weight either, it's performance for cost, the CZ isn;t too bad as i said but for the same money i can have... well a glock and a bunch of ammo or a smith and wesson m&p and a bunch of ammo. Guns are like cars and sports teams everyone has theirs and everyone has a reason why theirs is the best lol
