The battlefield was covered in blood and dead bodies. The battle was long over, there were no winners. Everyone lost something. Wives lost their husband, children their father, mothers their son. The snow covered everything in silence. The young prince sat their for awhile, staring straight on the field infront of him, not wanting to believe what he saw.
Another one, this time inspired by Foxamoore's "Diary of a soldier": http://www.furaffinity.net/view/530529/ Actually the song was a commissioned piece, but I couldn't resist. I love it. (again, I would say it is a bit too happy in the middle part, but that's again just my weird mind ^^'). Beautiful song. This image popped into my mind as I listened to it.
The picture didn't turn out as good as I wanted. And I ran out paper (so the horse is missing a bit of its ear. ^^';) And THe anatomy of the horse is way off. WOAH me drew a whole horse? WTF? Still cannot draw horses and the perspective was hard. I'm still not good with sketching on paper. But I'll practise it more.
Uh and I love my little boy. You know, he's a prince. ^^ So purdy.
Oh and I actually made four different versions of this, but at the end I chose this. Fits the whole mixed media theme and stuff better.

wow, this one is beautiful hon, I love the detail in the background and the characters. The horse came out nicely, the anatamy looks pretty good on it and of coures your little prince is just as adorable as ever. Kinda reminds me of that scene from Mulan when they're looking over the battlefeild, but this one is more bloody lol. His Hoof really stands out on this picture, my eye was drawn to it right away because it's like a little beacon on the paper lol. Nicely done hon.
