A fair amount of time ago, after being inspired for traditional fantasy from having watched LotR, I designed my own appearance for goblins. My intention was to use that design to portray a goblin victory over a Dwarven King, smugly looking content on a stolen throne.
Of course, the final product looks nothing like my original concept, but I guess it goes that way sometimes. In between the goblin design and this piece, I created an original goblin character which I ended up placing in here. His name is Gorwath Ug'arel, though his background and history actually have nothing to do with winning a war with dwarves.
But that's okay, because I accomplished a few things with this. I got another art piece done, it's in a media I usually never use like this, I'm going to put it in my portfolio, and I got an illustration of my OC.
