A Kitsudori priestess. Female kitsudori that are born with a "sun" marking on their forehead are forced to become priestesses as it is seen as a divine symbol and only beings that were chosen by the gods themselves would have such a marking on their body.

The life of a priestess is horrible, as she isn't allowed to have emotions and to get rid of these they must go through months of torture where they reach a state of emptiness through all the pain they experience. After that, it is their job to be judges over other kitsudori, pick punishments, of course perform exorcism, ward of evil and be a messenger for the yokai.

The priestess all don't have their real names anymore, instead they are called by numbers in order of who become priestess first, second etc.
There is no limit to how many priestess can be at the same time, as long as there are females that bear the sun symbol they will become a priestess. However, usually there are no more than 3 at a time.

Anyway, this priestess here is Number 3, San, and she hasn't been doing the job long yet. She is very obedient and does as she is told.
