Chakat Patches is relaxing on a cool summer afternoon, diving into a good book. So enchanted by its pages, the young chakat ignores the beauty that is all around hir. White wispy clouds race across an ever blue sky. A warm breeze tosses the green grass, sending dandelion seeds into the air. The chakat is off in another realm, full of magic and wonder.
Shi is diving to the deepest realms of space, exploring lost kingdoms of the past, in hopes of finding lost treasure. Along the way shi encounters danger, trials, and even death. But in the end, the reward was worth it. Not so much the gold or jewels, but the relationships that shi made that would stand the test of time. And of course love. Love will always find a way.
The calico colored chakat swishes hir tail absentmindedly as the book's story began to unravel. Oh how Patches wished shi could travel to fair off places and meet true love. Perhaps that why shi requested being assigned to a Star Fleet Exploration Vessel. Another chapter is about to start in hir life. All shi had to do now is turn the page, and see how it unfolds.
