The title is a reference to A Christmas Carol, specifically the part where Scrooge disbelieves that Marley has come to visit him. I do things like that.
Also you'll notice the transformation happens in panel 1. I was very insecure in my ability to draw humans (it takes a certain tenacity) so wanted to get to the cute stuff again ASAP

Had oddly never read the comic before last night... read it all now though. ... not that I've any compulsive tendancies or anything :P
I like King. Undecided on Pete. He kind of sometimes seems reasonable and like he'd be a decent guy to know and stuff, but he also kinda seems to be out to be the bad guy. I think... still not entirely sure he's bad per-se.
