Nifty little beetles - this one following in the vein of self-applied bug-decals.
Just wanted to work on the beetle - and reacquaint myself with too damn many filters apprently - no subtlety here at all. I'll throw up the BW version in scraps for anyone to paint, as no one could do any worse than what I have here. >.<

*thankies* I at least kept the color scheme down to a narrow palette. *nodnods* Definitely warmer colors, and I think the original beetle is found in rainforrest and on tropical islands. I'll do up one of these guys's larva sometime - they're pretty freaky lookin', like alien trilobites.
