Since I've grown lazy in my typing, I thought to do a reference sheet for these critters instead of a written one.

The ring works like a soap bubble ring. Every time the Ranulf wants to change the tail's shape, the old tail 'pops' and the new one forms from the ring and then solidifies into the new tail. No limit to shapes or material.
