Beautiful shot! Where was this taken, I have a few photos from Africa

I'd love to be able to say it was from Africa. Unfortunately, this was taken at a local zoo.
While I did get a few good photos, the visit really affirmed my extreme distaste for zoos. I find them to be absolutely retched.

I know. I had no idea they could do that either. Then my roomate's (when I had one) cat jumps up in my lap, looks at me and burps. It was really foul. Needless to say, she was booted from my lap rather quickly. >.<

This is probably one of the most intense wildlife pictures i've ever seen. The stare is striking and the fur texture is gorgeous. I admit though, i'm curious as to why you cropped it *if it was cropped*

It was almost as if the tiger were staring into your soul. I imagine that it was begging to be let out of the damn zoo. Lol.

The photo is actually not cropped at all. I took several of the tiger. This was the best of the closeups (as close as I could get anyway) out of all of them.
I actually don't like editing my photos unless I feel that I absolutely have to. And that's only been once so far.
