That's what the Luftwaffe called it, throwing on green and brown paint after receiving the a/c from the factory or other units. You can see the pre-shading is gone. While I could have stopped halfway through the painting and re-pre-shaded (!) I decided a responsible owner of a classic would only use fresh paint and proper techniques! Thus, an almost-new paint job. Still drying in spots, trying to cover this 800mm span model with a 150-class airbrush leaves some uneven paint thickness.
