I know what ya mean D: plus lately I've been in a huge bout of no motivation to draw so that doesn't help ;_;
I definitely think you should upload them here anyway though! Who cares if they're not furry related there are tons of humans on FA!
Plus it's good to get away from anthros for a while. I've always been fascinated with people's humans styles

I'll give you a super basic does not cover the basics at all really summary of it
It's about four kids that discover a secret and forgotten garden within their city and get trapped in side by an evil force sealed within the structure.
The story is about them trying to overcome this evil and facing many physical and emotional battles because of it.
Guardian is a being there to guard the seal and make sure it stays in tact/unbroken by outsiders.

I'll give you a super basic does not cover the basics at all really summary of it

Yeaaah it's gonna be pretty long
which sucks 'cuz
when I first started working on it I was like 'I wanna do something really short like 20-50 pages'
LOLNOPE gonna be way longer than that orz;;
And hmm
What I do, is I work out the entire plot line, including all the important points
I also did a lot of character notes and how the characters interact, traits, quirks, etc (this also helped me think up filler events and little things to bulk up my story and give it character development)
From there, I started writing a loose script that went page by page
for example something like this: 'Page 1, main chara is standing off to the side of market street, eating apple. Thinks about how he wants to go to a booth but doesn't have courage to.
Page 2, spots female character friend--takes chance to go talk to her/walk with her to booths --she startles at him showing up; kinda hint toward x, y, and z here'
etc
of course when I go to sketch the pages out they always end up being longer than what I write.. orz;
But that's the basics!
I try to write out a chapter, then do all the sketches for it, then from there actually draw them digitally. While I'm working on drawing the actual pages, I start planning out chapter two and so on

I never watched the anime (despite how I have like all the music okay I love anime theme songs)
But I DID read the entire manga. AFter the ten year later arc it really goes downhill : /

it was terrible orz
