With the death of her lover, the Governor General's son, Kirai Ankoku's world was shattered forever. Her all-consuming grief and fear after Francis' murder triggered in Kirai an ability to reach out into Malifaux's aether and bring forth vengeful spirits capable of exacting revenge on those who had wronged her. These spirits took the form of creatures of legend from the Three Kingdoms. The terror they visited upon the men responsible for Francis' death taught even the most jaded residents what it was to fear the night again. Locked doors were no barrier to the spirits and none who stood in their way or were the targets of their rage survived... save one. While Kirai is not my first choice for a Malifaux crew I had the opportunity to purchase it at lower cost, so while I wait for the code to purchase any crew( I won a code by taking first place in a Malifaux contest at Anime Expo, speaking of I need to post the pics from that event as well) I decided I'd have another crew. This is her with a Seishin, a spirit summoned forth when anything dies around Kirai, shaped like an Asian dragon head with a flowing spirit energy tail, they have many uses, either as materials to create other creatures, a beacon for Kirai to teleport to across the board or as a shield for her to prevent damage.
