So if you have noticed from all the vent art my life has not been totally a-OK. My friends dragged me out to the cafeteria for a breath of fresh air the other day. I looked so mopey a worker there gave me a free apple. I think I've lost it because I like, couldn't say anything and I just stared at the apple and then I started crying. XD
The apple in this piece is a metaphor for kindness. It can be as simple as a hug or a compliment or a "thank-you." Get out there and give someone an apple today. =)

This comic is really touching. I've fallen in love with your art for both the work and also the emotions behind the things you post.
I totally agree on the subject. A few years ago I was at a point like this. I was miserable and ready to give up as I dragged myself to work at a fast food joint. Then randomly that day, a woman came thru the drive and when I opened the window to give her change she handed me a yellow rose and told me to smile.
