Yeah, so not a LOT of unfinished or dropped stuff this year. Most of what I've done has either been finished or didn't even make it past 16 measures and wouldn't be worth sharing. But here are the things I have a significant amount done on, and again, you get to guess which ones will be finished. ;)
1) Hiroyuki Sawano - The Reluctant Heroes (Tesslatronic Remix WIP)
2) Matthew Mosier feat. Megaphoric and ismBoF - My Cadence (Tesslatronic Remix WIP)
3) 10 Seconds Flat WIP
4) Loyalty WIP
5) The Honest Apple WIP

Nice.
Here are my personal suggestions:
1) Put a high-pass filter on the plucky thing you start with, only to get rid of the sub-bass. That thumping knocking helps make pianos sound more "real", but it was weird here. Might consider making the vocals louder or stand out better too.
2) Did you put some sort of flanger or delay effect on the bass? It's noticeably floating around in uneasy patterns. Might consider replacing the FM organs with something less tinny, such as (bright) pads or something more sawy for a more serious sound.
3) Sounds good so far.
4) Could use a more powerful kick drum and brighter percussions, even as you're going for the movie score effect. The unexpected change of heart at 6:58 was jarring.
5) Sounds good so far. (However, if you're making this into a full song, write a second set of bass chords for the second half to keep listener interest high.)

Thanks for the feedback!
#2 is my main focus right now. I don't think there's any delay on the bass, but it is sidechained to the kick. I've still got to mess around with it a bit. I've probably gone through 12 instrument and bassline changes in the past 4 days, so it's a slow process, but I'm definitely looking to finish it.
