I think that's a hoax, cuz I used to have a nice bow, and used to practice archerie... and I never got no muscles ~.-.~ I was allways scrappy...

I think he was making reference to the Bow-Flex since it technically uses a bow-like mechanism and is advertised as giving guys a lot of muscles.

Well, you do get significant muscle growth, but only in specific muscles in the arms. Not often you draw a bow with your calf or stomach muscles, after all :b

shhhh, he's a furry, and furries are prone to spontaneous massive muscle growth by merely flexing a single muscle... at least once they enter my mind, anyway.

The machine was based on the bow, yes, but I don't think people in the old ages sat there for a good half hour just stretching their bows. After all, the strings would break, it'd wear out, if they used arrows they'd have to retrieve 'em, etc...

It's not so much the bow concept that bulks you up as it is the methodology of making your muscles work continuously against stiff resistance.

Not that it really matters cause Robin looks damn cute and handsome like that. ^_^

Archers in fantasy stuff always seem to be too weak. Same as gunners. (I'm looking at yooouu, Fran and Balthier...)But it should be the other way around, especially if they're experienced. Well, maybe not a gunner, but the bow is really pretty hard to use right if you're not strong. I tried once and hurt my arms/fingers so bad...Not mention the arrow only went a few feet.

hum english bow men would have desent upper body strength but, where would he get the leg trement. you'd have to jog up and down a mountain to get that atleast. nice pic, reminds me of, well, robin hood from Disney. (not everyone can pull that off)
