Man... I used to color pretty well back in the day, but man... looking at what I'm capable of now, this is crap! I could do something like this in a comic panel without breaking a sweat! Look at how flat that face is, the shading on the arm, the perspective of those bricks, the table is spot on, but I also screwed up the character sizes without knowing.
I don't even remember how long I took to color this thing either, it's not that great, but aside from trying to reflect some light off the leg I kept everything inside the lines and such. And the fact that this is from 2005 kinda depresses me... for 3 years I've been trying to motivate myself into finishing this comic, every time however I look at what other people are capable of and how I'm doing and I just freeze up and try to redo the same 3 pages each and every time... all the while I fell like I can do better.
I shouldn't dwell on this however, 3 years is too long of a wait to finish this up. I just need the motivation.
I wonder what I can learn from this though, maybe in the future I can figure out how to color like this again without killing myself in the process (For the shrunken one picture, my only excuse is that I haven't colored in 3 years.). Tablet would be needed though as I only got a shitty mouse to help me with that endevor, but for now all my coloring will be flat.
As for comments from you folks, I think advanced critique will be encouraged, granted I think only my friends will critique... but keep in mind... this is OLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD!!!
EDIT: Now, I know you folks are gazing at the foot now, and I'm kinda close to raging asshole mode here, so please, I know that you guys who are into feet and giants with bare feet are really excited about the fact that I drew a foot, but please... I'm looking for critiques on this past work of mine*, not how well I drew the foot.
If however you feel that I fucked up the foot and made an anatomy mistake that I gotta watch out for, please do tell me about it. But for now, please no more comments about the feet, otherwise I WILL make you hate me!
*Yes... I do realize that this is FurAffinity and half of the people here are fapping to this and would rather comment about what they like instead of taking a moment to critique an artist. Thank you for your info.

okay.. i'm done pawing off to this..
now look.. you sound a LOT like a very dear friend of mine i still keep in contact with from my time at the AI. she still attends, and she still has trouble pushing her artwork out on schedule, and do you know why? because she spends all of her time on about 10 pictures when she has 50-60 that week to finish before handing them in the week after,..
.. she does the pictures, looks them over, and then looks around her to what the other artists are able to do, and gets discontented with what she did, so she goes back and puts more detail in, adjusts the lighting, plays with it until she thinks it's up to the standard of everyone else around her, even though it was MORE than adequate to meet the professor's expectations. So instead of handing all of her work in, the best she can do all of them to her abilities and passing, she does only about 1/4th of her work REALLY incredibly, and failing 3 out of 6 classes,.. and with spring break just around the corner and her quarter about to end, she's in a horrible rut right now trying to scramble up enough credit to pass her courses...

Personally? The foot dangling off the table seems like it's bent from the knee at an unnatural angle. It's possible, sure, but I sincerely doubt it'd be comfortable.
Another quip of mine: Does he actually know she's there and just faking sleep? It seems like having one eye (mostly) open suggests that, but I don't know.
Those're my two cents, at least. Spend it as ye please.

I dunno... It's much better than everything I could do... But I guess I'm no Competition for you anyway ^^
Anyway, I think the coloring is overall quite nice - It's true that his face looks a bit off, but I can't really find anything bad at his arm. The Overall scene and picture is actually quite nice, I like the expression of the giant. On the other hand, it's a bit confusing to see this "Z" in the speechbubble there, suggesting that he's asleep and still seeing that he has an eye open.
