So since today (8/4) is Bowser Day, I decided to whip up a little something something to honor it. And, as a bonus, I wanted to make a gift for one of my favorite artists on the site, and my favorite draggie (or, at least, half draggie)

First off, I've been searching for a good story for about 40 minutes, but haven't been able to find one. Till now.
For the first ten paragraphs, I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what you were referencing. It's completely my fault as I sometime skim words/titles. However, rereading those 10 paragraphs I realized I was being stupid as they were filled with an abundance of obvious clues. (Goombas, Mushroom Kingdom, King Koopa , ect.) When I finally realized what you were basing the story on, it became a much more enjoyable read.
I loved that you incorporated Mario Bro's into it. While I haven't played the games in forever, (They're timed? D: ) I enjoyed your various references to the game with the most notable one being about the princess. Seriously Peach, how many castles do you need? Plus, those toads pretend that they have a princess so you save them. What selfish jerks.
Anywho your story was almost nigh perfect. Your spelling and grammatically skills made it an easy read from start to finish. I only have one minor quip. Nommzer (Which by the way is a fantastic name as I thought of Bowser, even though you never outright said it), says "Princess Toadstool". That kind of confused me for a bit as I couldn't figure out who that was. So I searched it on the internet and found it was Peach. Personally, I would have written Peach instead of Toadstool because everyone knows who Peach is but only a select few know who Princess Toadstool is. By changing the name, it would clear up a slight roadblock that caused me to slightly disconnect from your story for a second or two.
This story totally gets my favorite. Plus, you've got a new fan.

As for the Toadstool vs. Peach thing, well… I was specifically referencing the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES (from 1985), which was the first video game I've ever played (and also, incidentally, the reason Sunday (August the 4th or 8/4) was Bowser Day; 8-4 is Bowser's Castle in that game). And YES, in JAPAN the Princess is called Peach, but in the ENGLISH versions of the early games, she's called "Princess Toadstool." Also, much of the Mario knowledge in my head comes from the Mario comics I read in the early 90s, and she's Toadstool in all of those. So, as long as I'm writing the story, she's gonna be Toadstool goshdarnit!! xP
