I love the armadillo's pose! Though I don't think you'd see the other eye from that angle. All the same, I'm probably going to study that sketch a bit for my own improvement

That is partially a stylistic choice, the faces are flattened and the eyes spaced closer together on characters to give more of a anthro (human) appearance, creating a further illusion of relatability and appeal.

OK. I just think something about the face looks asymmetrical- there's probably multiple solutions to that. (I'm not trying to diss your art or anything, I just really like armadillos and I hope you draw more! )
