This is the reference sheet for Tica's fursona. Though Tica is usually very content being a sloth, sometimes she wishes she could move faster, run on all fours with the wind in her face... wishes she was something big, strong, and tough; sleek and graceful and beautiful.
The design is from the Book of Kells, a 9th century illuminated Gospel from Co. Meath, Ireland. She can be found in folio 111r. Of course in the Book she is drawn in a very stylized Celtic manner, but here I have taken the design and drawn it in my own toony style.
She's a lioness, but is built more like a greyhound than a lioness, ending up more streamlined, lighter, faster over longer distances, and less lithe. She is still the same height and length as a lioness, however, and her paws are lion-sized (adding a bit of clumsiness).
