Made in 2012
Eleweth was at my place for two days and she brought me some papers that I didn't know so far. So I experimented a bit.x)
Neriel is Nerielous, even with her most common interjection - taaa taaa taaa.
I used Canson Montval aquarelle paper, aniline paint, a few pieces of salt, black ballpoint and wine instead of water.
I hope you'll like it!

I tried it, but it didn't really work - I have problems with salt even now, I guess it's because I have wrong paper for that, I need to buy some more types - if you knew any particular paper where the salt stains are nicely visible, let me know.;) - it usually takes the color from the wet paint and makes little lighter 'stars' in the color. Quite nice effect for abstract backgrounds.:)
It is fun to work with it - I'm only sorry that mine don't work.:D I think that Agaave uses salt a lot > http://agaave.deviantart.com/art/Sk.....rfer-356429695 , but I'm not sure what is made with salt and what with alcohol. Alcohol makes such interesting stains as well, and especially weirdly affects copic markers and such, but I didn't try that so far.:)
If I remember rightly, MoonSongWolf from DA has made some interesting tutorials about working with wine, maybe she mentioned the paper, too, i don't know - I used Canson Montval here, but I don't know which paper is the best for it. Good luck with trying and if you'll find some interesting well-looking new technique, let me know!:)
