The Best of BronyCon 2013 - Part 2: Maddy Peters - Part 2
ART BY:
bosky
After my son got his signature from Maddy, (Scootaloo), it was my turn. :)
As with Cathy, I explained to her the significance of this picture for it was a gift from
bosky for my 32nd birthday!
I further went on to share how much it means that good friends like
bosky have taken time out of their lives to make special artwork for me. As such, I just had to have her sign this work so that I could further show
bosky how much his time and thoughtfulness meant to me.
Of course, like I did with Cathy, I shared how seeing her on Friday, August 2nd, 2013 was a complete 180 from where I was last year. This being having a third eye surgery in a week and being admitted into Pittsburgh's UPMC hospital with no more than slight light perception in my eye.
Maddy was very kind in letting me share my tale on how I made it to BronyCon. It also made me feel to let her know how much it meant to have brought my son along to be a part of this amazing experience.
As with Cathy, I gave her a copy of
bosky's work. She was more than happy to accept, as were all the VAs for all of them seemed very excited to get fan arts from the fans. However, in this case, I got to turn a great gift into an even better one by having it signed so that
bosky can see just how much this work has, and always will, mean to me.

It did. Though, my son went where I went. Thus, he'd get first dibs on anything before I would. Which, truly, is the way it should be when it comes to a convention geared towards wholesome, family fun. :)
Even when I was getting my signature from Cathy Weseluck (Spike), she spent time in-character talking to my son. It was wonderful. :)

I'm happy to share the story and even happier you have enjoyed following it. In a way, it's like being back at the convention again when I write up these segments. Oh, such a magical time.
Tomorrow's is the one I really was happy for. It is my time at the Silly Filly Studios - Snowdrop Panel[/i]. I can't remember the last time I actually felt my heart pounding out of my chest to want to ask a question. My son also had a fun moment in it, too, which makes for a wonderful memory indeed. :)
Thanks for your time, Stoneth. I smile in being able to have these little chats with you. Good times!

Oh, gosh! :D Hahaha, Nishi mentioned this to me, and I'm glad he did! Awww, what a super awesome surprise! And it's very nice of you to think to get my drawing signed! :D Plus it's extra cool and exciting thinking Scootaloo's closest human avatar actually saw my rendition of her and signed it. :) So thanks so much, Yosh, that was very very considerate and thoughtful and everything else! :D
It's great you had so many fun moments at Bronycon - I was wondering how that meant. I'm sorry the latest FiW wasn't so great, but it's really neat you and your son got to hang out with all those people from the show. And I'm glad you're doing better than the same time last year. In any case, it sounds like you gave your son a super day and it sounds like alla the people there were happy to meet you too! :D Congratulations, Yosh, and I hope everything else is going great for you!

Hurray! I'm so glad you got to see your work here in its signed form. I thoroughly explained to Maddy how much it meant to me that you did this for my birthday. She was most interested in the Scootaloo lyrics you wrote, too!
BTW: You do know she accepted a copy of this picture, right? She didn't just sign one for me, she took one as a memento from her times at BronyCon - 2013. Your work is "In the Possession" of Scootaloo. :)
I'll touch on more when I can respond to your letter. *Crinklehuggles as he rocks with you* So happy I could make your work 20% Cooler! :)
