That actually works really really well with the hair. You shouldn't even need a neck for it with that.

Going to have to ask.. the ball park price for one of these? Im wish I'd win the lotto so I can get a slot in! However, it'd be the coloration closer to that of a white tail.

Oh and wanted to add, if I got digi legs that looked more hoof like, I already have the boots similar to those you advertise. They have a side zipper and are black with high thick heels.

i love the shape of it quite a bit. Not so sure about the color/markings tho personally. Still, its very nice and would love to get one for my deer character for Alliance LARP sometime down the road :D

Well bare in mind- Im not going for species-specific- or even fully-animal coloration here. She's meant to be kindof strange lookin (on top of piebald). Oddly enough tho- Alliance may be exactly what I use this for : ) Evidently theres a new chapter starting in Denver.

yes there is. haven't heard much of anything about the new chapter other than the fact that its starting up. I have only been playing Alliance since the beginning of the year so don't really know a lot of the player base or anything like that really.

Like I said, its just a personal thing that I don't like the color, nothing against the mask as a whole, the shape and everything else on it is awesome :D

my deer stuff all came from Northfur FX, and its AWESOME for winter events, I stay nice and warm even in below zero weather :D, but during the summer its a bit warm to try to play in for extended periods, even not wearing the outer hood that the antlers/ears are attached on.

and just for a random note, assuming you are playing the doe PC, to my knowledge you would be the 3rd deerkyn in the game

to my knowledge, yes, throughout the whole organization, and I was the 2nd one.....however, since I am kinda new I may be totally off admittedly, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. Most folks that tend to play wylderkyn also tend to be predator-type kyn. The funny thing is, he is named after my good friend  nahanideer , with his permission of course.

Will this eventually have fur? Or will it strictly be paints? Cause, just flesh based and with your model (I'm assuming you?) the hair fits perfectly. This is movie special effects awesome. Truly!

Yeah this one is gonna be called done just as it is, the covering is actually a veeerrryy subtley piled fabric so it looks kinda fleshy but itsalso still kinda fuzzy. Its only failing Iis that it It isnt especially stretchy. Anyway, yeah while I could kdo more paint, im doin kinda one of those weird changeling style situations here again so the vahuely fleshtonyness of it works for me :)

I have to ask. How do you get the molds so close? Do your clients have to send in a face mold?

I have a really good generic maquette that everythinig is done on that so far has worked well universally. But if I am sent really good head casts of people I can work withthose too, ive figure out a few techniques.

would you paint around your eyes black when wearing?

Not black actually but many subtle shades of brown and tan and then white at thenlashine to emphasize and create an illusion of larger eyes

This is one of my favorite things you've ever done. Seriously you ate an artisan of the craft. Its a piebald too so automatically 1,000 times cooler than a regular deer.

Deer are so hard to make for fursuits because they have such small dainty faces. You did pretty well considering. Still gotta work on that mouth/jaw crinkle but that will come in time. I suggest looking for a more flexible type of fur. Something that will at least partially behave. I'm curious. If you ever have the chance to do mesh eyes I'd be very interested in that. I do plan on commissioning you for a 3/4th suit once I have the money and if you're accepting commissions when I do - I would prefer mesh for my character. I think glass doesn't really suit her.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Practice makes perfect. Try new things. And most importantly have fun. - And make money XD -
