If you ask me about A7V, how it looks like. For me it looks like a vehicle with cardboard box. ^^;
A7V
The A7V was a tank introduced by Germany in 1918, near the end of World War I. One hundred vehicles were ordered in early 1918, but only 20 were delivered. They were used in action from March to October of that year, and were the only tanks produced by Germany in World War I to be used in operations.
Following the appearance of the first British tanks on the Western Front.
The project to design and build the first German tank was placed under the direction of Joseph Vollmer, a reserve captain and engineer.

Well, the A7V is an example where the Germans saw the British Mk 1 tanks.
They obviously understood that although the Mk 1 was /very/ unreliable, it could cross the mud of WW1, had armor plating and guns.
But when you look at the A7V, instead of focusing on the MK1's turret and track design the Germans seem to have said 'It needs lots and LOTS of guns.'
