Because apparently that means "little flower" which seems pretty appropriate, considering the circumstances surrounding her creation.
Terribly terribly drawn xD It seems during all this work trying to re-learn how to colour, I've completely forgotten how to DRAW. Fuck.
The good news is, I think I finally figured out my method. Look at the coloured parts of the good version of here here... they're not lookin' half bad, eh? I have to do some refining, but I think I finally got my method figured out.
Now I just have to learn how to draw again xD And god DAMNIT I need some light greys!
But yes, anyway, here she is. She's pretty much the opposite in many ways of my other female character. While I've usually thought of Syandene as being crazy, dominant, party girl, peircing and tattoo, drinker, kinky and stuff, I tend to think of Leiko here as being more innocent, submissive, quiet, shy, maybe intellectual.
Though they're both gonna appear in pr0n, they'll show up in entirely different ways xD And likely this girl less than the other, since she's not as slutty, I reckon. xD
So yeah, here's a quick ref for the new character. Now, let's see... I've got two female characters, and one male. (Fursona doesn't count, and I got rid of Evel since I never used him. xD)
I guess that means I should make one more male character. Any ideas? xD

That's just 'cause she's based off a flower that had purple stripes going out from it's center.. but I do quite like how it looked on her, myself. The markings will need some refinement and they'll get it over time as she's drawn, but for now, not bad. They'll do xD

I don't necessarily disagree, but... define "intricate"? What have you got in mind? Her markings are still a work in progress so very much up to change. What have you in mind?
And the darker colour is actually an accident, I actually want her to be a bit more of a reddish purple than that, but my scanner seems to scan her a different colour every time xD
And yes, I actually prefer smaller breasts myself. In all actuality I usually draw them bigger than I really like them, physical habit. I have trouble making the chest area look right without biggish ones, but I actually like them somewhat smaller xD

Intricate as in thinner lines, but more of them. One of those things easier to explain with visual aid, I'll note you with a random sheet maybe. But basically instead of a couple think lines, more thinner but intertwined lines in a more complicated pattern.
But I think, while not true to the original concept, the darker more purplish markings work better on the light/white than the original more lighter ones did.

You could maybe add some more variation in color (ie: different shades/tints), if you want more depth in her design, but she is quite pretty as she is.
