This was an exercise I did late last week to help break me out of a habit I have of using the same general shapes when making character faces. In this case, I'd draw the faces as I usually do, but draw an unfamiliar shape here and there and see what faces came out of it. I was pleasantly surprised with the results! I could definitely still get an even bigger variety, and take more steps away from my usual style, but as a first attempt I really like this.

Also, I just realized I draw too many neutral faces. I'll change that for next time!
