Wow... to think I skipped over this one. That's almost distressing for me.
I hate jumping on the bandwagon with these things, but people are right you know. The colors are extremely vibrant in this one. It's the oranges, the yellows and the reds that make this stand out far too well. Then again, the character is more or less a orange cream fur colored individual that's sitting on a large star. Needless to say that it was going to end up a bright picture.
Speaking about the star she's sitting on, I will say that.... you had waaaaaay too much fun with the paintbrushes there. I'm able to see multicolored stars, circles, bubbles... then a GLOW effect around the star If that wasn't enough, you also happened to add a blue background to it in order to make this stand out as well. Kind of like you were trying to pull out every possible stop for this picture color wise...well.. even effect wise.
Here, what I happen to find the most enjoyable is the fact that you blended that orange/cream fur there quite well with the red portions of the fur (i.e- The ears, hands, feet and tail tip.) I can't saw I know who the character belongs do personally, but given how you've drawn this one, I might be inclined to meet said person.
Honestly speaking, it's a rather amazing birthday picture here, I can honestly tell you. It's bright, festive and.. it's good for a celebration, as anyone can easily see. That being said, I happen to enjoy it Kayiko chan.
....I just happen to find it moreso upsetting that it's been 2 years, and only 7 people decided to say anything about it. It's like you're almost being under appreciated..well, perhaps back then.
